Hello,
I just bought a 1998 gs400 about a month ago and I was wondering what the fist performance mod I should make that would make the most improvement in acceleration. And then the same question for improved cornering and handling. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanx

Welcome...
I would buy (if interested in more HP) intake w/chip (SRT), and exhaust...not much else out there....unless you want to drop the cash for LSD or TC (torque converter) both over $1000 but do help. I would start with looks, mainly wheels....I have some for sale!

Howz the weather out there in Calgary??
As for performance products I would say Intake/Ecu would be the easiest for now.. I guess if you give us a budget you want to keep to then we can give you a better idea..

Well for that money you are looking at the Intake/ECU from SRT (Swift Racing).. Its like $535 USD (I think) plus shipping.. So there goes your money after ($1.61 conversion rate)..
As for the SC430 it is amazing to say the least.. Unfortunately I only get to play with it for half the year since I won't drive it in the winter..

Car is being rebuilt in the bodyshop... went up there and installed the intake... (havent tested it yet) but now the bodyshop is saying there is too much damage on the car.. so they might total it.. but i don know.... the chip, is wut i havent gotten yet. when i get the car back .. i will get the jet performance upgrade (not actully a chip, but they will fine tune the ecu), oh and i will get pics up when i get my car back, it will have intake, exhaust, bodykit and springs all installed.... the pics i have is from when my car wasnt lower'd and didnt have the bodykit nor the exhaust
