I agree, guys/gals play nicely. You can have HRE wheels, someone will say they are ugly. You can have Giovanna wheels, someone will say they are ugly. You can have STOCK wheels, someone will say they are ugly.

 

Most of the wheels bought, sold, and repped on club lexus.

 

I don't know if the 14 means size, but first gen GS came with 16's

I guess a lot of us here on CL are ricers

My defenition of ricer is a compact size vehicle (Honda Civic) with steelies in front, dumped and bouncing all over the road. big Loud pipes
and is just as fast as a go kart with a lot of racing stikers

 

I had a Civic before my GS350, it was nothing like that... anyways a lot of the ricers from the honda club have graduated and moved on to the new higher end of cars... still ricing it up. I see a lot of it, some people flip out about an intake mod... lol.

And yes, to clear it up... there are A LOT of ricers on CL. :P

Funny, but true. Look in the 2IS section... they have like 10000 polls that has thing to do from "Best mod you did" to"best intake sound." its not about the performance, its all about the sound!

 

I am going to have to agree with the newb. I'm not going to point out specifically who, but I wont deny the fact that there are people with "rice" mods on CL. This is one of the reasons why I rarely post in those "here are pictures of my car" because everyone's taste in mods are different.

Sorry, but chrome 20's on a GS does not equal ricer. Just like aftermarket wheels on a dumpped GS does not equal VIP. There is more to consider than just a few simple mods to determine the style of a car. I think this word is being used too freely without realy understanding the meaning. However; to each there own.
