Gwu128 ,

Quick question..Did they have a hard time putting on your L-sportline bumper. I heard that the front bumper dosen't fit correctly on the car so I was just wondering..BTW your car is soo sweet and clean looking..

I do have a little hard time to install the bumper, it much heavier than the original, and it is little bit smaller. From my point of view, it does not fit perfectly.

Default Sidemarker/turn signal lights

Hey guys,

Nice car gwu128!!

I am also very interested in that sidemarker. You say that you would not recommend the BMW 5 series sidemarker (even though it looks very nice), so I was wondering if anyone had successfully installed a sidemarker that they WOULD recommend.

Here is the one from the JDM aristo from Hiro's site, what do you guys think?

A bit stubbier than gwu128's, but still looks nice. By the way, after you rewired everything, how does the original ORANGE sidemarker on the front bumper operate? Does it still light up? Does it flash when you signal too? The clear BMW sidemarker you installed ONLY lights up when you signal, right?

Thanks for answering these questions!

Yes, the BMW sidemarker are hook up to the signal light only. The original ORANGE sidemarker that you are referring to actually works as a parking light which does not wire together as a signal light. I like the BMW sidemarker because the clear / long rectangler shape, but it too much installation involve.

I've thought about using that JDM clear marker. Afterall, it IS the OE clear marker for the Aristo. But it's alittle expensive for a marker. I've been looking for some other clear Toyota markers but so far I don't see any nice ones.

My brother bought clear Mercedes markers and did the same thing on his E320. Drilled a hole, wire, and pop it in. Looks very nice and most important of all, it's very useful. many times I switch lanes and people don't know I have my signal on because it's all the way at the front. having a side signal marker will definitely warn people.

That's one sexy car you have there "gwu128". Hopefully I'll see you around the area one day since I live around that neighborhood...by the way, if you see you, don't try to race me since I only have a GS300

That is a absolutely gorgeous car. Whenever I think about it I keep seeing the Mazda “zoom zoom” kid pop up and say “Bling Bling.” Did I mention that car was gorgeous?
