how/where did you guys mount your ipods/sat radio recievers? We gs owners don't have much space to work with when it comes to add ons. I use the ipod dock that mounts into the cig lighter by the ash tray. Just got sirius and now having complications about how to have both mounted. Wish there was a cradle for both units :-/

I made a plastic cradle that sits in the cup holder. Put felt where the ipod lays, and painted the rest semi-gloss black. I bought an extra plug and used epoxy to make a permanent docking station. Cut a small hole into the center counsel and ran the wires to the deck. Looks very nice and very factory. The lid still closes. To make it, I used some thin cardboard and made a template of the inside of the cupholder . Make the template so it fits down into the holder. After that, I traced the ipod onto the template. I cut out the ipod tracing, then traced the template onto some plastic. I used white sheet plastic used by model car builders, but I would recommend black plastic. I used more plastic and built a cradle for the ipod to lay down into, and lined it with grey felt. Hope this helps!
