OEM HIDs: Bulb or Ballast
So guys-
One of my lights keep flickering and was wondering if it was the bulb or ballast. When I first start the car, the bulb will come on with no problems for about 5 minutes and completely go out. After that, if I turn the lights completely off and then turn it back on, it will last another couple minutes but keeps on going completely out. I'm not really sure where to look first, suggestions? Thanks!!

Most likely the bulbs. Seems like they're they're near the end of its life.
To really know the problem, take out your HID bulbs and switch them. If the problem is now on the other side, then it's the bulb.

Your problem is bulbs. I had to do that a few years ago. Just lately my bulbs were flickering like a strob light in this case the problem was not the bulbs it was the ecu for both sides, I ended up replacing the whole headlight assembly right and left it cost me less than $2000.00. It came complete with bulbs and ecu.

probably the bulb but you can't be sure. the only way to be sure is swap the bulbs left and right and test again
and if you replace bulbs, get a pair, otherwise color would be off
