Wierd noise coming from the firewall/dash area
Whenever i start the car, especially when it's cold it makes this wierd noise, almost like a heat shield hitting the piping. It's coming from the inside of the dash right in the middle. Anyone have a clue?

Guys, this sounds like a loose bolt or something. My GF it sounds like a diesel engine till i give gas. Anyone ever had this issue. It really pisses me off since this is a LEX not a Chevy. Any help would be great. It goes away after 1K RPM.

I had the similar noise this is what mine was. more like a quick ticking at certain speed.
The top of the dash has the window defroster vents up near the windshield.
I stuffed some matchbox paper about the size of a nickle between the vent outlet and the dash opening.
