changing oil on my 98 gs4
how many quarts does it exsactly take?

About 4.7-ish. Fill up 4 quarts and then add accordingly until you get it full.
I buy the 5 quart jug and it's enough to spare.

I must have a big oil pan, cause mine always takes 6 full quarts!

according to the manual, rain and fill for GS4 is 5.2 Q and GS3 is 5.7Q

I do 6 quarts on my 1999 GS400 with a new oil filter.
