Default Starting issues on my 98 Gs4

My problem is that sometimes i need to disconnect the battery cable and hook it back in order for the car to start. The problem was when i tried to turn the key to start the car ,the whole electric on my car just dies. When that happens i just unhook and rehook the battery cable then it starts. What could it be? Could it be something to do with the factory alarm? Or is there a BCM(body control module) on the car thats malfunctioning? If it is the BCM where is it located? PLease help!!!

I would first check to see if you have a look battery cable, both of them even if placed on the terminal but not super tight would cause this. I would clean the battery terminal and connections and then tighten them down super tight. Try that out for a week, if that's not it then it's a short in the system somewhere and you may be blowing a fuse, or you may have some wires crossed. Does it have an aftermarket stereo or anything?
