I got rear ended today. The compartment where the spare tire lays got crushed. I dunno if the gas tank got crushed. Where is it located so I can visually inspect it?

Its under the rear seats.

 

So it's directly underneath the rear seats? In that case, it should be in fine shape. Wonder how the hell we are supposed to change the fuel pumps then...

 

i believe the fuel pumps are right under the bottom of the back seat.

 

yes the fuel pump is right under the bottom of the back seat.

 

yup just grab the rear seat by one of the corners closest to the seat belt and pull directly up. don't worry there are pretty good tabs on there that rarely break and it'll go back in easily. you'll see the fuel pumps once you open the seat up. good luck and I think you won't have any issues. sorry to hear about your misfortune. good luck and be careful out there.
