Default HID Fogs.. 3000k looks green???

I have the stock clear lenses on my 02 gs300 so I recently purchased an aftermarket HID kid with 3000k bulbs, but to my surprise the lense looks greenish with the new HID bulbs installed. Is there something blue in there that can be removed? Any suggestions?

4200-4300K is the standard lexus, bmw HID. The higher you go the more blue it is. 3K HIDS?

There is no such thing has 3000k green. 3000k is a color temperature measured in kelvin, and it so happens that 3000k is yellow. If anything, the bulb is probably coated blue/green to mix with the yellow to get green.

the bulb was not coated. there was some change made to the gas that lights up.

its not some insanely high kelvin color.. if it were, there would be very little, if any, light output.

My Philips Ultinon D2R's have a shiny yellowish green coating over them. I've never seen green HIDs in real life.
