Ok so this morning I go out start my car and start driving and notice its extremely slugish like rediculiously slugish and the car sounds a little louder than normal. So i floor it. It doesnt go any faster and then maybe 15 seconds later everything is back to normal. I was like ok thats not good. So I got to work and talk to some guys about it. They say warm ur car up before u start driving tomorrow morning because its cold out. Well just now when i was leaving for lunch It starts doing the same thing. I floor it again and about 5 seconds later it kicks in and starts driving normal. The temp has warmed up a bit so I cant imagine that being the problem. Im driving home on the 21st so I need my car to be in good working order. Anybody have any idea what the heck could be going wrong? I dont think its the tranny because when i floor it the revs dont go up. I dunno what to think. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking maybe your MAF?
But I'm not really sure...
Perhaphs the car isnt estimating your air flow and fuel properly...there are a lot of possibilities...really not sure =\

Fuel Filter comes to mind. I would think that if it was the MAF that the check engine light would come on.
Could it be a vacuum leak that seals up when the engine gets hotter?
Does sound strange though.

Fuel Filter? Doubtful..Lexus says that those last practically a lifetime on our GSs
How many miles do you have?
What those people told you abt waiting to warm up the car is DEFINITELY NOT the reason though...lol.
It can defintiely be a vaccum leak though as BM mentioned

Well just got off work. The drive from lunch back to work and the drive from work home was fine. No problems. Very weird. The air filter came to my mind too. It isnt throwing a cell eather. I think im going to go check the filter in a little bit since its easy to do.
