I've had my '03 GS3 about 1 month and am getting 24.5 on highway(75mph) and around 21.2 combined so far. Just added a Tom's drop in filter so I'm interested in seeing if mileage improves a little.

[QUOTE=UberNoob;1961787]do you guys have the spare tire in the car?

If not, what w'd you do if you get a flat tire? Specially these low profile tires!
What w'd be the cost of be towing?

I don't think a GS4 will go over 20mpg combined ever. If not what would be the efficiency of a Corolla?
I have a 93' Integra 1.8 and the best is 22.8mpg. My GS: 16. My brother IS 250 2007: 22 to 24mpg. Worst yet a GS 1s gen with a 4 speed tranny.

I think this are realistic numbers... unless you tow your car or sw to off in a downhill.

Our cars have the same drag coefficient as a C5 Z06 Corvette, this explains the above average hwy milage for a V8.
I second that. Last weekend I got 28 in my '99 GS400 on a road trip. I normally get 24-25 commuting to/from work and it'll get down to the high teens (18-19) if it's in town driving.

In town driving 14 - 15. Doing about 100 miles of highway driving out of the tank and I'll see about 17mpg; 2000 GS400.

i actually average about 16-17, so i voted for the 17-18, in my 99 GS4. i tend to drive more in the city than on the highway. i would say that i get about 22mpg on the highway.

Default Gas Mileage

98 GS4, 93 octane, 19-20mpg usually closer to twenty consistently. I do 75% highway driving and try not to beat on my car. Gas mileage is great if u do an all h'way long trip...

I just came back from a trip to North Carolina this weekend. It was stickly highway and I was traveling about 85/88 (no a/c) and I was getting 21.6 on the way to NC. On the way back I bumped it up to 89/91 with a/c and I got 19.6. I think that's pretty good, considering that I have 3.92 gears and it burns a bit more gas.

We have like 17+ gallons not 15, so it's more like 22 plus. That's still very good miliage.

How are fuel cost estimates and miles on a tank determined?
Fuel cost estimates are based on 45% highway driving, 55% city driving, 15000 annual miles and the following fuel prices:

Premium Gasoline: $3.40 per gallon

You may customize these values to reflect the price of fuel in your area and your own driving patterns.

Fill-up cost and the distance you can travel on a tank are calculated based on the combined MPG and the assumption that you will re-fuel when your tank is 10% full.

What's the difference between air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions?
Air pollution refers to vehicle emissions that are harmful to human health and/or cause smog. Greenhouse gases refer to emissions that cause global climate change.

Why do some vehicles have more than one air pollution score?
Some vehicles are available in multiple emission versions that look the same but have different air pollution scores. Unfortunately, it is difficult to distinguish between similar models.

If you click on the link "Show Detailed Air Pollution Information" above, it will display the emission standard and the 12-digit underhood engine ID. You can identify the cleaner car by matching the engine ID listed above to the Underhood Label Identification Number on the vehicle.

Note: In some cases, manufacturers choose to certify identical vehicles to different emission standards. In these cases, the vehicles will have the same engine ID.

GHG-Greenhouse gas emissions expressed in CO2 equivalents. The greenhouse gas estimates presented here are "full fuel-cycle estimates" and include the three major greenhouse gases emitted by motor vehicles: carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane. Full fuel-cycle estimates consider all steps in the use of a fuel, from production and refining to distribution and final use. Vehicle manufacture is excluded.
