Default LED lights in high-beam housing (accents)

One side just blew out the other night...I only had them for about 3 months! Is this the typical life expectancy for these LED's. Does anyone know of a good LED bulb that would match 6000K (lo-beam) HID's good and be of excellent quality? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This has been talked about in previous posts. Do a search for Heallights and look for the thread titled "Sticky: Wedge Bulb options (GS) comparison" and there you will be able to look at the various models and their intensity.

Polarg M4 or M6.

M6 is closer, but it's also a headache because of it's size to get it in.

Yeah, I know I used to have the M6's...the problem is I REALLY like the look of the particular LED's that I bought but do these bulbs blow a lot? If so, I will revert back to the regular filament bulb style such as the PolarG M6.

I know I checked that thread a long time ago...actually I posted on it as well. Good thread, however it does NOT mention about life expectancy of some LED's over others - that's what I need to know. I want to know if I simply got "bad" bulbs. If this is so I will just buy new ones...they're only $15.

sup nick, I've been using those 12-LED bulbs from the ebay seller wardenjp_2002 for the longest, some of them do tend to blow out tho. I've had blue 12-LED bulbs there and after 5 months about 2-3LEDs in each 12 blew out, but it was no biggie. Now I'm running xenon white 12-LED bulbs in there and its been 4months and going strong, not a single blown LED in each. These things are only about $4-7 for a pair, so I wouldnt even care about the timelife on it, as long as it can last me a season, i'll behappy but the ones i have looks like theyre gonna go for a year strong

Thanks for the help guys...

Hey tommyjaix, where did you get your latest xenon white 12-LED bulbs from the same Ebay seller? How well do these match the HID low-beams? I might scoop these up!
