Just noticed it when I started it up to leave work. Sounds like alternator whine coming through the stereo. It's quite loud in Park but gets quieter when shift into Drive. It also gets louder when you give it a little gas but you can't hear it after the car is rolling or cruising along. You can also feel the whine through the shifter.

The car drives fine. No jerkiness, stuttering or hard shifts. The car has 111K miles and I don't believe the transmission fluid has ever been flushed and replaced. Can that be it or signs of a larger transmission problem?
