It's both. Aftermarket HID of any sort is illegal for road use, whether it be in fogs or low beam. The brightness isn't much of an issue if you have the proper cut off. It's still illegal, but you reduce the chance of blinding others.

The best you can do is to lower your foglights so that they aim down a bit more.

civic mod on a lex? sorry to burst your bubble but buying a pair of 9006 bulbs would have alleviated 90% of this problem and you would still have aiming capabilites. If you don't have the right part, or mod it and it still dont fit right, it doesnt belong. remember pre-k with the circles having to fit into the circle hold and the squares in the square hole. i dont mean to flame but its true

Lol ^^very true^^ ... having aftermarket HID's is considered "illegal" but police will rarely stop you for them ... I don't think I've ever heard of someone getting stopped for HID's here in Miami ... Now if you have 8000k (blue) or higher HID then i have heard of people getting tickets for them after being stopped for something else like speeding ... Same story goes for tints ...

[QUOTE=excluesive;3130087]civic mod on a lex?

a mod is a mod it seems you dont understand the concept. mods take time to be perfect which in this case came out fine. in my situation where i work 7 days a week and i finished this at 10:30pm out in the cold. so yeah it needed a 2nd day of attention for fine tunneing. pluse i pocketed some cash for my "civic mod on a lex" neways, thx for ur oppion.

p.s. thanks Gsteg for ur time to search out that link.
