I was not too thrilled with the Nak in my friend's old GS4, but the ML in my GS430 simply blows it away. Maybe there was something wrong with it, but probably not. Difference between the two is night and day for OEm equipped premium audio

 

Yeh, my friend just picked up the '07 gs w/ M Lev and it sounded real good, but my system is built up, so i'll take the Pepsi challege anyday. However in agreement w/ your statement, it would have to be better considering, otherwise they would have just put another Nak in the newer models as well.

 

i have actually heard 3 people, one being a lexus employee say that they thought the nakamichi sounded better than the mark levinson. not sure what they were basing this comparison on exactly. i would like to think that the mark levinson sounds much better cuz it is newer more powerful and a lot more actual speakers i think. have you guys ever heard this???

I've heard the same thing from my Lexus dealer friend. I have not heard a ML yet, but my Nak sounds pretty good. The more I think about it, the elderly lady who owned it before me probably did not excercise the bass like I am so it probably is still "newer".
