NEW within the last 2000 miles:
What am I missing that could cause vibrations? Steering rack bushings?? The dealership is clueless and I'm at the end of my rope about to hang myself!
- Control Arms
- Ball Joints
- Tie-Rods
- 4-Wheel Alignment
- Hunter 9700 Road Force Balance all rims tires
- 4 New Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires
- New front rotors and pads, new rear pads

wheel n tires balanced?
are they aftermarket wheels? did you get a hub centric ring aka a hub spacer?
when they balance ur wheel, ask them to take a look to see if they are not bent. you can still balance a bent wheel, just that you may get the vibrations. at 60 mph, it usually means the fronts are the ones causing the issue.

No it shouldnt. The balance is done with the wheels/tires off the car anyways. They add physical weight to your wheels, and it's not going to change if you take out your wheels
nytoy, have you checked your caster arm bushings yet? Usually that's the culprit for vibration; suspension-wise.

It is just a common problem with our cars. I've had vibrations with 20's and now the 3GS 18" wheels. I never had the problem with the stock 98-05 17" wheels. I've done 4 wheel alignment, road force balance, new outer tie rods, new lower ball joints, Daizen steering rack bushings, and the problem still persists. It is the one and only problem I am having and hating with my car.

vibration issue
well, i used to have this issue.
i had it with OEM 16" wheel
and i had it with 18" ADR wheels.
i was going to "Just tires" for the alignment and they cant figure out what is wrong.
i finally went to magnussen's Lexus Of Fremont, and the mechanic did fix my car and the vibration issue was reduced quite a bit.
for a while, my car was not shaking at all.
but, i guess my info cant help you much.
if it helps, i can check my reciept and see if there is any check-list which may help you to solve your issue. PM me.
good luck.

yeah this is a common problem. when i bought the car it vib at 65-75 area. but i changed the brakes and changed the coilover and it went away completely. but after about 5000 miles. it came back only at 60-65. weird!!

This may sound stupid, but do you know what lb-ft your lug nuts are torqued to? Over the past few years, I've noticed that whenever my lug nuts are overtorqued, the car shakes at speeds of 65-75.

here what i would look at.. if the brake pedal is vibrating then it could cause that... if you have spacer on that could also cause it...
I had a driveshaft go bad in the supra and it caused vibration at around 60-80 mph.. so look into that also..

Hub centering rings helped in my case.
I also think that as the tires ware on a dropped suspension with size over 18" you start to feel it more.
If you have front inner tire wear it shapes the tire tread kind of weird?
