Default Should I buy this GS430?

Found this at a local dealer: 2003 GS430 Blk on blk, Navi; 26.5k miles, for $29,000.

But the CarFax reports says fuel injector flushed/serviced. Does that seem problematic? Also 2 titles were issued for this car. Does this seem fishy? Ive been trying to get a car and its either to lease an 08 Altima or see if I can get this GS430. Thanks for all replies.

I'm not too worried about the price since I am going to negotiate it. But I'm more concerned with the mechanical aspect of the car. 1) Should a car be serviced so much..especially a Lex?! 2)The fuel injectors were serviced at 21,000miles. 3)Why would it be serviced at an outside station rather than at the dealer itself? 4)Am i being paranoid? LOL

Maybe it was serviced so much because the original owner was OCD and liked keeping the car in perfect condition ... but yea man not even a question about which one you should go for ... LEXUS > Nissan

I saw this car in person last week when i was at cherry hill of lexus (if this is the car they had in the used car section) blk on blk . looks like someone took all the 430 stuff off it and swapped it with the 300 stuff. (wheels, shift **** etc.) I was there getting service done and was checking the cars out they had on the lot. if you purchase it i would ask them what happened to the wheels and woodgrain shifter. besides that i think you will be happy i bought my car from them and have no problems at all. i would get the extended warranty . its not that much more . good luck

As stated earlier, you can get a better price. Mechanically I think it should be fine esp @ $29k! Better be! So really it just comes down to whether you like it enough to buy it. GL! BTW really low *** miles?

I just checked out the link from Cherry Hill and to me it looks like it's all correct. I dont think it had the sport pkg on it.

I live a few miles from the dealer (mine came from them too) so the next time I pass thedealership I will stop by and look in the window. They are good people to work with so good luck.

get them down to like 26500-27000 and it'd be a good deal. most of those points are maintenance so this is a good thing

Thanks for all the replies fellas..greatly appreciated!

bmpiazzola: lol I'm riding the buses and subways here in NY so a bike won't be much better!

Phillygs3, yes this the GS is from Cherry Hill Lexus. I also noticed the 300 wheels and but isn't that the stock 430 shifter? I didnt notice anything else. I havent personally seen the car yet, being that it's in south NJ and I live in Queens NY. I have to call the dealer and set something up.

augdogg: yea it does have low miles, but I really wouldnt know how to dispute something like that.

I just emailed the dealer..crossing my fingers!

Ahh, not what I ment. That's a good thing, just wondering why? Was it purchased by old folks and garaged? How many owners? Salvaged title? @ 26k mi that's just over 5000k per year + 2 titles? Be sure to check all the seams and paint for matching. Have you test driven it yet? BTW car looks sweet!

4ntvings: yes its a cpo. it does come with the wood steering wheel & shifter.

augdogg:True. Not sure. Still have to talk to the dlr and schedule a test drive. I will def ask what kind of titles the car had/has. I'm def planning on looking at the seams. IMO, for a car that doesn't seem to be driven a lot, the leather driver seats seem pretty worn.
