Default Lack of power in '01 GS430??

I drove my wife's '03 LS430 last night for the first time in a few months and it seems to pull so much harder than my '01 GS430.... Hers has 40K and mine has 81K. I checked and both still have the stock filters(clean, unclogged). Does mine simply need new plugs and a tune-up or is there some added power in the '03 vs. '01?

Thanks,
Todd

03 LS 430 has 290 hp to the GS 430 300hp....Only a 200lbs difference in weight, so they can feel similar.

I assumed they would be similar but, the LS felt like it would walk all over my GS... Both cars are bone stock. LS has 18" sport wheels. Mine has the 17" wheels.

There is something definitely wrong if that's the case. Perhaps you need a tuneup. Change spark plug too since it's recommended to change around 90k anyways. Get a fuel injector system clean up if you like. I just got mine done because I felt a loss of power and now it's more responsive and the rough idle is gone.
