Hello guys. I have a 06 GS 430 with navi and I have the option to change my navi background color from green,gray, blue, and brown. My father has a 2002 gs 430 with navi and I was wondering if he has the same option. If so could someone post instructions/location. My father is 4hrs away so I can't look at it myself.

don't think its possible. havent seen anywhere in the nav settings that lets you do this.

it's in the menu. you can change it.

It only changes for the time being while you are in the menu. It is gray/blue instead which I would prefer. I don't know for sure but I've tried it and no luck.

Thanks for all the help. My father said the background use to be a greenish blue color but now its brown. Something had to change for him to notice it. I will ask him to send me some pics.

maybe if you update the nav version then you'll get a diff background color. thats the only thing i can think of

No... I'm asking about the navi system on a 2002 GS-430.

I think it only switches from night and day mode, but I have a 98.

on some cars you can have it set to automatic- every couple of weeks or every month it will change automatically. But you can select the color manually, too. I could do that on my 04 GX... Am I missing something?

Your 2004 GX may have a different generation nav system (I'm not knowledgeable on what gen nav they put in what year GXs). He likely has ver 2/3 and you likely have ver 4
