Default classy or tacky?

i always felt that the green light on the ac vent and audio was'nt luxury enough so i had to no choice but to open it up. what you guys think of the new look?

I like it. A lot of high end aftermarket radio uses the same color for the backlight and buttons. Definitely classy.

Dude what did u do? remove the green rubber cover on the bulbs? or change the bulbs entirely? looks nice, different look..

thats if there are rubber covers, remember my old LS had them in the radio and CC.

change the bulb entirely. Some of the bulbs in there are not the same.

removed the green condom It was to much work to change new bulbs. but maybe red led in the furture. thanks for the freedback.

Interesting. My friend changed colors and he had to remove all the bulbs. Then again, he went with white

there were a few bulbs that would of require removing completely inorder to take off the green rubber. but i had a box cutter on hand so i cleared them off.

how long did it take you to do this??? it seems like they are a dull white in the pics...is that correct?? either way i think it looks a lot better than the green, especially if your gauge cluster is white

about 45 min. the white lights are from the led. got the idea from another thread but instead of installing it from top down, i had it stright forward the dark area. to bad it is'nt wood would of glosted better.

oh so the white light is from the leds then...thats cool, so do the radio and climate lights look orange in person like toysoarer said ??
