not sure if this belongs on lghting. I saw a pair of retrofits that Im interested in, that are RX330 projectors, meaning that they are D2s bulbs that wil be needed. They dont come with the bulbs or ballast...my car currently has stock hids, what will I need to do to accomodate the retrofits.Wil they just plug and play or will I need to modify the current pugs for the different bulb type..

Once you get the projectors mounted onto the bowl, it's plug and play from there on. The OEM plug will accept both D2R and D2S.

you should only need to get d2s bulbs then. the ballast will fit either d2r or d2s.

You will have to deal with the fact that the D2R have a light shield while the D2S don't, you will lose a little light. Also while you are trying to fit in the D2R bulbs there is a difference in the notch. No problem however, just carefully cut the notch and away you go.
