Quick question for those of you guys here that have the aristo swap. What throttle cable did you use? I bought a Supra TT one but it's way too long and the flange piece that mounts the the firewall isn't the same shape as the stock one. Any chance you have the part number for the JDM Aristo throttle cable?

Hey Jeff, it's been a long time since I did my swap but I'm pretty sure I used a TT cable, it looks really long but once you put it on it's not that bad, kinda has a hump in it but thats about it. Again, I *think* it was the TT cable I used but I'm recalling from awhile back.

The Supra TT cable should work. The reason for the extra length is simply because the route of the cable is shorter on the JDM car.

I'm thinking of going with the GS430 throttle cable. I really don't want to hack up the Supra TT throttle cable to make it work. The stock GS300 cable is about 1/3 the legnth of the supra TT cable! I only need about 2 extra inches more than what the stock cable is to fit on the new engine. The GS430 cable looks to be about right.

Depending on the length you might get away with buying a Lokar throttle cable from Summit, or an extension kit for the GS300 cable.

On second thought, maybe I used a Corolla cable, after thinking about it I did use a cable from another model but i don't think it was a TT.
