for the pass few days, i noticed a burning smell, smells like rubber burning, when i use my heater. the smell goes inside and outside of the car any ideas?
It's happened to me many times on my Mustang. One time I accidentally ran over some plastic that was used to cover a sofa! I immediately smelled it and pulled over in a nearby lot to pull off most of it. The rest was melted onto my catalytic converter shields. It was unremovable. It eventually burned up and left some residue behind but didn't smell anymore.
