The Eibach prokit is a good spring drops about 1 inch all around, which is really all that is practical unless you want to drag. It's a progressive spring so you don't notice a lot of difference compared to stock unless you take a corner at speed and the progressive part kicks in. You can also use the stock springs, but they may wear out a little quicker. The Bilsteins really go with these well if you want to replace. Any of the coilovers would give you the drop you want, unless you're trying to slam it.

Nice Wheels Tod!! And thank you for your old 17s , I'll let you know when they arrive...btw, you def need a drop, like I said you will notice a major difference with the look of your car after the drop. Good Luck.

Thanks for the information.

I'm stuck on either the NF210's or the DF210's with the KYB shocks. How much more drop do the DF's really provide over the NF's. I don't want to have to worry about the normal speed bumps and potholes, etc. Also, does anyone sell the springs already mounted on the shocks so it is a simple swap?

Thanks,
Todd

Welcome and nice wheel choice.

Im a former cobra owner too. White 98' w/ cobra r's lowered w/ gears and h-pipe. Man do I miss it! I find it interesting that so many ex-mustang owners choose the gs as their practicality car. It says a lot about the gs's performance.

Anyways, the drop you choose depends on what you want to spend. Ive got s-techs and kyb's and have no complaints.

why are you stuck on just those two types of springs? have you done a search and read up on all the other types available? theres a TON of reviews on here about pretty much anything you could possibly buy. in regards to buying the spring "already mounted" to the strut...no...i mean if you want i could buy the stuff, slide the spring onto the kyb, attach a spring compressor, and sell it back to you for an extra $100 over retail "assembled"...but you should probably just do it yourself. the only way you're getting ease of installation like that is by going with a nice set of coilovers like i originally mentioned. i used a spring/strut combo in my first gs and have tein cs v2 in my current, its a little more expensive but youll be a lot happier with the ride quality and lowering flexibility. anyway, if you decide to do the install by yourself, this link from the DIY thread is helpful: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ht=replacement
