Default New Member - PIcs of new wheels on GS430

I'm new to the world of Lexus. I sold my Whipple charged '04 Cobra a few months ago to purchase a more family friendly car. I purchased a '01 GS430 and absolutely love it. I had every intention of keeping it stock until I found CL. I just purchased and installed a set of staggered MRR HR2 wheels/tires last night. I need suggestions for what to use for lowering it down. Other than the wheels/tint, the car is bone stock.

Thanks,
Todd

hey... tein cs coilovers are one route... how much you want to spend determines whether or not you're going to be rolling with a spring/strut replacement or full coilovers. atleast you got your head on straight about that thing needing a drop. personally i would have done that first and bolted the wheels up later but i know how it is to get anxious. just be easy, mod that thing clean one step at a time and youll be happy.

That is one of the CL commandments. Thou shall not keep stocketh.

I'm a former Cobra owner myself. I had an 01' with bolt-ons and suspension work. Welcome!

Welcome to club lexus. If you wanna lower your ride and not loose the stock feel throw some tanabe nf210 or df210 springs with kybgr2 struts and shocks. the nf drops abot 1.5 fr and 1 in rear . df gives you some more.

Congrats on making an excellent choice . The HR2s are one of my favorite wheels. Very clean and classy. Now you just need to drop it, aint that right tantra?
