1998-2008.. 10 years of glory for the 2nd gen GS
#17
I have a 98 and love it. Its just about to turn 79k miles and it feels tighter and has much nicer interior than 98% of the new cars I have seen and worked on. They just don't make them like they used to. No one ever belives me when I tell them what year it is. The 2GS is a car that will keep its style for many years to come.

the 2gs has always been the car i dreamed of. i'd rahter have my 03 more than a Aston Martin or Bentley! i mean these are car people save their retirement for! ive been blessed to own one @ my age. i was approached yesterday by a older gentleman that was driving a 07 SC430 and he was stoked about my car! granted its lowered and has a 5zigen Mega system, he was like "this must be your material pride and joy"
kinda felt nice to be complimented by such a older person
props to toyota of japan for producing one of the most influential and timeless sedans to ever run the streets of america

This car has brought me so much joy and every time i drive next to an 06-07 bmw or mb i feel like there is no diffrence. This car gets me alot of compliments and the speed is just crazy of what this car can do compared to the new "sports" cars of our day like the 35g and 350z, got compliments from a100% porsche lover fanatic, he was driving the 996 gt2 and gave me this nice car you got there look he said he liked it more then the 3gs because of its aggresive look and more of a lexus look then a toyota look( i think you guys know what i mean).
