So my car has been having starting issues. I let my girlfriend take the GS to the grocery store couple days ago since it was literally 15F here in Indy and my car was already warmed up.

Anywho I thought the car wouldn't even start considering how cold it was but she started it right up on the first try using her master key fob according to her.

Now, has anyone tried using their other master key fob and have the same occurance? The car has been starting just fine since, it's really weird. I'm thinking just coincidence but could there be something with the key fob? My starting issue is that it clicks and no crank so I thought it was the starter....

If it justs clicks occassionally, then I would say your starter is starting to go bad. Your GF just got lucky it did not happen while she was driving it.

yeah most likely the starter but I'm using her keys now and it works everyday.

i bet it would either be the transponder failing to send the code properly or battery wearing out? my $.02
