Default Fog light on/off switch loose

I've been having problems with this, and it's bugging the HECK out of me!!! I fear that my ballasts and my bulbs in my fog lights might die out prematurely. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Did you try searching for the issue in the lighting section or the 2nd Gen GS Forum?

You may also want o explain exactly what is actually happening, your being too vague.

if the very tip of the control stalk is loose and hard to turn on/off (flickering etc...) then ur best bet is to replace the light control stalk.

i had the same problem on my old '95 LS and its maybe a 10min. job.

I had a loose stalk back in 2002. The dealer had to replace it. I will look through my reciepts tonight, and tell you the cost for the part and labor.

I love not having to post my issues If i wait some one will ..

I have same issue but when fogs are on ... when the turnsignal goes back to the middle spot it goes back fast and flickers my fogs... kinda hate that ... My simple fix is when turning catch it before it returns back to the middle to fast .. = ghetto ..

spill some coca cola on it, it will "stick" better. It sounds stupid, but it makes all my other buttons stick when I don't want it to!

I checked my old service bill, and the part (headlamp stalk assembly) lists for 75 bucks. Order the part from CL vendors Carson or Sewell. I believe it is a plug and play part that is screwed in place. Possible DIY job. Good luck.

No joke. Two summers again, I had a soda can in my car and it was ready to burst. Being careless at the time, I thought it would be okay to open it up. Boy did that can burst. Soda got all over the place. The foglight switch was "tighter" though
