OF COURSE IT WONT SHINE PERFECT IN A HALOGEN. BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE AND ISNT AS DRASTIC AS PEOPLE MAKE IT SEEM.
Theres no need to post pics, it looks good. OF COURSE it GLARES more then the OEM HID's. If it didnt, then why would there be a difference. ALOT of people have HIDs in there Halogen and they are okay with it.
There are too many perfectionists and to the normal person, it works fine.

You're right people do have HIDs installed incorrectly (I was one of them) and I and many other motorist are momentarily blinded by them. Of course it works for you but it doesn't work well for those driving towards you. It has nothing to do about perfection, it has more to do with consideration for others.

ALOT of people speed and drive recklessly too. ALOT of people install exhaust systems that do nothing for performance but wake up everyone in the neighborhood. ALOT of people cheat on their spouses.

Even the OEM adjustment will not compensate enough for the light that angles upward. I think most of us complain because we get tired of the glare whenever we see it on the road. A lot of the guys on this forum are in their 20s. They may not see the reason behind this, but once you're over 30, your vision capability starts to deteriorate, particularly your response to lighting.

Hey, but what if you took some OEM HIDs with D2R sockets
Where can you get a Ballast with a 9006 harness that has a D2R bulb?
From what I see, if the aftermarket ballast that has 9006 harness, usually will come with a 9006 light.
I'm interested to figure out how to connect correctly (hopefully plug and play so I can always remove it):
a D2R bulb to an aftermarket ballast (WHICH I TRIED OFF EBAY BY THE ADAPTER DOSN'T
or a kit that has a D2R bulb and a ballast that has a harness that connects to a stock 9006 car.
Does anyone have any suggestions or is it probably fine to cut it into the aftermarket kit given that I already have a warness that wont fit into it's male/female amps.
