Default OEM+ seats anyone?

Does anyone have OEM seats that are not for the 2GS? Like Supra seats or something...something more ergonomic than our seat.

I looked at a pair of used Evo OEM Recaros but its like 1k/pair and I'd want them re-wrapped in leather too (they're black/blue and my interiors tan...).

I know Aloha (sorry forgot the rest of your screenname) has Sparcos but was wondering if anyone did something like a Poopura seat swap or a cheaper more OEM alternative than Recaro/Bride/Sparco/etc.

IMO being a former Supra owner and now a Gs owner, the Supra seats wouldn't do much for "performance", a lot of those guys switch out to aftermarket seats because of the fact that stock Supra seats aren't super "holding" for hard driving. Those tan leather sparco's however would be my dream seat

darn, i was hoping Toyota actually knew how to make ergonomic seats and at least put them in a Supra. I don't care if it's performance oriented, it's my daily driven GS, but I want something more ergonomic!!

My old 1991 MK3 Supra seats were awesome IMO.
They had lots of lateral support an held the driver tight.

I miss the support they gave me...

Junction produce makes seats. If you want to spend $3500. They are nice though.

Yeah. AlohaGS has some Sparcos or Recaros. I don't think Lexus/Toyota makes any stock seats that provide good support during hard driving. Maybe the new IS-F? I sat in one too during the EOS meet but I can't remember how it felt because I did not drive the car anywhere.

i bet the IS-F would cost me more than an aftermarket Recaro . Hell, I think the OEM GS seats cost more than Sparco Milanos.

Jesus whatever you do don't put ****ing Sparco's or Brides in a GS.

Find a car with sporty seats you like and swap your rails onto them.

what's wrong with Sparco? I'm not going to put bright blue or red seats. If I'm doing this, I am doing this right.

^aloha03gs's GS. oh so nice.

I probably won't put Bride though...too trendy and whatnot.

I think the pic of Aloha's cars might just shut up all the nay-sayers .
I think it looks pretty good.

If you wanted soemthing just a bit more classy you could try the E36 M3 seats, but all the cats that jump on ppl for using "Infiniti" Rays wheels might bash you pretty hard.

Whatever you do, you're going to have to address the airbag light.

You should check out those Sparco seats in tan, they would match our interiors pretty well and I'm pretty sure I remember being able to get them with perforated leather as well. If you want to see them check out Sparco Milano Leather (they run about $1200 each) and are available in other colors, they are also available in a suede like material (alcantra) for around $900 each. Who wants to sponsor me!?! Lol
