Hi guys (& gals), I'm new to the Lexus scene & own a 2000 GS300. I've seen posts for parts broken down between these years. Can someone explain the subtle & not so subtle differences between these model years? Engine, chassis, etc.?

2001+ the v8 became a 430 (no more 400) the 430 and 300's got new taillights, gauge cluster trim and shifter trim was updated, grille, green tint headlights all I got for now

 

From what i remember:
01+
got an engine cover on the gs300
rear view mirror with compas
gauge cluster trim
gauge cluster color
tail lights
steering wheel has a smaller airbag
headlights have a greenish tint to them
leather got softer
center console shifter trim is chrome
cupholders
all i can think of now

and new 16inch rims, which still need to be redisigned.

 

the side mirrors are a tad different, as well. my 300(00) are shorter that my freinds 01 300. 01 mirrors have a line that seperates(kind of hard to explain on here)
