yep, just trim it a little more and you should be fine.
mine wouldn't go in that smoothly and i had some bulges of the rubber coming out past the frame of the window but i figured it would be fine once i rolled up the window and let it compress the foam for a while.
now, it's VERY quiet inside the cabin and it passed the GF test because she was always saying she heard wind whistling near her head near the top corner of the passenger door.
GL!

bump for a very good, and cheap mod. I did this mod a few months ago and noticed an immediate improvement on the wind noise. Very cheap mod and very little work, but the improvement is huge ! I did this mod on all door and windows.

Would a weather shield window visor also reduce wind noise?
I rememeber with my civic, the oem Honda visors were clip ons so i had to put it between the window frame and the stripping, and after installing them the wind noise was reduced quite abit....but this is cheaper i guess.

A step further
I haven't done the window track yet, but I did do the door seal. I had to cut the seal in places to get the tubing in there, lubracated with Windex. Also, I took the little pins out that hold it to the door because they wouldn't let the tubing slide in around the front, bottom and some of the lock side. Now I have tubing in the seal around the door as well as the seal around the door opening. Made a difference.

Hey, good idea... I went to ACE and bought a bag of 1/2 inch for $4 and some change. I tried to putt as much as i could into both down the B-pillar and along the top of the door in the rubber tube. I managed to only get the insulation about a foot and a half to about two feet. I tried both massaging the insulation down and using mechanics wire to poke or push it through, but like i said was only so sucessful, when my goal was to run it the entire lenth of the B-pillar and the top and front kind of by the windsheild. It does a good job of beefing the rubber up, but i think the corner of the window mod he's talking about will lead to much better results. I'm going to purchase 3/8 to put in the windows track. I have taken apart the mirrors because there is a TSB, and i have well documented it, i just need some time at my house to upload the pictures, in the mean time i will be just checking in here and there.

Just a heads up I'll give you guys another idea.
I had a done the doors a year ago and it worked well on my LS400.
Then i had some water in my trunk cause by the seals not being perfect around it .
So i did this to the trunk weatherstrip as well .
OMG , my car is real quiet now . The doors being resealed do not compare to the air being sucked out of the trunk . Now the other areas where air was getting in are no longer effected.
Also the bass notes from my sub in the trunk are much sharper.
Also you need only to use 1/4 inch 3/8th is slightly big as it only needs some extra tension inside it to fill it out more.

Does anyone know where I can buy this? I went to Lowes and Ace, and no one had a clue on where to find this.
The only thing I found was really really big foam tubing. Nothing for 3/8th.
