Exclamation headlight bulbs!

i was wondering, the xenon hid bulb im getting is 80w/100w lights output, would that fry my wires? its for low beam

It will eventually.

THose halogens run HOT as hell. Your relfector bowl might melt too.

err..... you mean halogen bulb.... there is no 80w/100w hid bulb, they are superwhite halogen. hid bulbs run at 35w (and 50w at max)

i won't recommend running it for long

I think Jeff is working on or running some 70w HID kit, that nut.

They must have meant that the output is like 80w/100w because I have never heard of an HID kit running that high a wattage only halogens.

There are a few people who already have 70-75w HID setups. The difference between that and the oem 35w is not as dramatic as it seems. Though it's still pretty cool to see

yeah halogen, my bad.

is there any way to use the 80w/100w output halogen and not fry up the wires?

Run completely new wiring from the battery to the bulb. But even then, you still have to worry about the bulb holder and the bowl itself.

it's not worth it man, seriously.

if you're really concerned about light output, get an HID kit.

If you want some intense light, just hit up Cliffud for some 50w ballasts, then get some bulbs on eBay.
