Yeah, he is working on your stuff on the bike, as far as the car - still under the car cover! lol I showed him this thread so you may be hearing back from him in classic Bucky style.

thank you! yeah it isn't that easy but luckily we are learning more and more each time. we are saving up for a vacuum sealer to do other items with more curves and such. should be fun to experiment!

I also had a member pm me about how i did the initial install. well, for me it was because i also go on long road trips to shows in this car and i want to be able to use other electonic devices on the road i.e. laptop, charge phone, etc... so i got a power inverter and installed it directly to my battery through the firewall directly behind the battery location. i took off the glove box console, and fed the wires through to the inverter. while i had my dash apart for the carbon fiber trim etc... i fed the audio and video rca's to the pioneer avic d-3 which already has pre outs and ins for things like gaming systems, rear head rest monitors, and back up cameras.

i mounted the inverter here out of the way

i still have some work to do. i over estimated the size of the hole i dremeled out but i will be wrapping the whole glovebox on the inside with carpet to make it a cleaner install.

you can see the big hole behind the ps2 here

Carbon, if I were you, I'd mount that PS2 down before it starts bouncing around and messing up your disks.

lol.. J/K

Looks good man.
What is the eventual outcome you are looking for though?
Or is it a slow evolution with no set destination.
So far I like it.

lol, i've thought about it! trust me. but to wrap those pieces we need a vacuum sealer because of all the grroves and curves. i may just break down and buy a used set. i know itp used to make them. there is no set destination, just slowly doing things that come to mind! thanks though for your kind words

cleaner solution may be a carbon sheet that covers the opening of the glove box, so the ps2 and ipod are the only openings.
