Default GS3 Rim fitment Question

Looking at some rims that are 20X8.5 35 offset for front and 20x10 38 offset for rear. Will these fit without pulling or cutting and with a drop of Tanabe DF210 springs? Also what is the best size tire for this setup.

Tanabe is an aggressive drop and I'm pretty sure that you'll rub

if you dont wanna rub see if you can swap the df's for the nf's and you should be fine.

you won't rub as long as you get a tire that has rounded edges or a streched tire which you will need in the rear. Nothting too streched. I would recommend 235/35 and 255/35 should be perfect, even with a square edge tire. DFs are the only way to go with springs.

I am always thinking everything is for a GS4 On your GS3 you can actually fit a 245/35 in front and up to 275/30 maybe a 35 if you like. Less drop than the DFs for the GS4 but to be on the safe side, the previous suggested sizes will not rub at all even with people in the car.

I just switched from H&R springs to the DFs on my GS3. Wish the drop was the same as the GS4 with DFs though.

My wheel setup is as follows:
20x8.5" +35 245/35/20
20x10" +40 275/30/20
Yokohama S.Drives

I repositioned the plastic liner in the fronts by tucking it behind the fender tabs/flange. I rolled the font fenders slightly.

Even then - The only thing that rubs in the front is the plastic liner when I make a turn, but a heatgun will most likely solve this. The rears rub only when I hit a big lump on the freeway. I plan on shaving the rear fenders later.

For your situation, I think +38 in the rears will work but you're probably gonna have to shave the fenders.

yes because from my understanding. The GS400 AND 430 come Lower to begin with from the facotory. So dropping it pretty much slams it.

With tanabe springs, yes. 2" & 1.5" vs 1.8" & 1.3", plus different spring rates as well for the DFs and all of the other springs Tanabe sells.
