Question Need Bulb Info

Help..... Fellow GS'ers !

I want to replace the bulbs in my inner lights. I want those lights to be the same color and brightness of the main lights.
I know that I will need super or Hyper whites to do this, but I don't know the bulb types.
Will I need to replace both bulbs in each of the inner lights? (Each one has two bulbs)

Thanks for any Info!

well there are two sets of bulbs in the 'inner lights'. one is your high beam/daytime running lights and the other is the wedge bulb that goes on at night. If you're talking about the highbeam then it's the 9005.
For the color and brightness part, there's no way to get them to match. Because during the day, the DRL is running at 50% wattage, so it would look yellow regardless of what bulb you put in. At night the wedge bulbs are only 5-15 watts and will not match the brightness of your HIDs.

For the little wedge bulb inside, try Polarg M6 bulb. It looks very clean and cost about 8 bucks a bulb. It matches nicely too.

For the 194 wedge bulb, the white LED lights are by far the closest color to HID that I've seen. In fact, I actually like the color of the LED better than HID. The PIAA ion yellow wedge bulbs also look good if you like the look of the yellow fog lights. Try eautoworks.com or autodynamic.com for the LED's.

Default bulbs

I would not recommend trying to match the HID headlamps. I tried that I spent money on about 8 pairs of wedges and was not satisfied in the end. Instead... I would recommend the ion yellow from PIAA. They will very closely match the fog lamps. It is a much better look..... Especially at night. Try it, I think you will be pleased with the look and you will some a little dough too.

I too went with the amber look after going thru a few supposedly "HID" like wedge bulbs. Nothing really matches. This picture is not my GS, but gives you an idea of the look.

Try: http://www.piaa.com/wedgebulbs.html

168 Wedge Ion Crystal Wedge Bulb
Part Number: 19173
