From what I know, mobilehid makes great kits too. I heard a lot of good things about them. I've never owned them, so I only spoke about Mtec because I've seen them in action.

For the GS300 non hid headlight, do people use the 9006 ballast or D2S with a modified plug? What about the fog lights?

You can also use HID for the high beam, but you much disable the DRL..

I'm going to Get HID for Fog lights and crystal white LED parking bulb for middle and of course high beam HID, that's my little plan.

mobilehid.com kits come with a 3 year warranty. and i've actually helped people replace their MTEC kits. lol.
Me too =)

Obviously I am going to sound biased here but stick with reliable vendors. Trust me, if you ever have a problem you will be happy you did so.

dont you need to do the retrofit to the HID headlamps?

How does these plug and play kits work in a NON hid housing? I have a 2000 gs300 without HIDs, how is the output if I just slap a kit on it?

I bought some cheapo's for my fogs last year and they STILL work fine and look the same as an expensive kit. Mine were off EBAY as well.
