Default catalytic converter & resonator

I have to get my CAT and resonator (first one closest to the cat) replaced. I've heard that eastern makes good aftermarket cats but also heard that aftermarket resonators will make the car sound much louder. I love how quiet the car sounded before the needed repairs and don't want to shell out $700 for a lexus resonator. What are my aftermarket options?

Just a heads up. The warranty for catalytic converters covers 8 years 80k miles if your within that period.
If you looking for performace units that are an actual performace cats then look for 200-300 cell cats. They will be a little louder but not by much.

It really shouldn't make that much of a difference. Most of the sound is reduced at the mufflers. Have you seen how big those things are? lol
