Wow that's awfully high. I'm 19 covered with very good coverage with State Farm and its 700 for 6 months. About 120 per month. I have no accidents, no tickets and have good student discount. Since you're 33 it should be a lot lower. I think my mom pays like 300 a year.

OMG .. some of you need to call for a quote !!!

I am paying 174 per month 24 years old .. good record for 3 vehicles and its all covered very well ... all deductables are 500 each and the pay outs are high 100k minimal through Geico

I recently changed when I added the 528i 98 bmw , esurance was trying to add 100 per month .... called around and Now the payment is the same ...

I pay 174ish per month and that covers my 99gs400 , 98 528i bmw , and 93 mazda miata at 24 years old ... and I was thinking this was average ..

Three years ago, when I last had insurance on a vehicle I owned and was driving a C320, State Farm was charging me $112 a month, full coverage, commuting about 60 miles round trip a day to work and living in a rural area outside of Southwest Washington outside Portland, OR. When I moved from there from an eastern suburb of Portland, my rates went up about 30 percent (to $112) because State Farm told me there were more high-damage accidents involving uninsured motorists in the area to which I was moving. Recently, got a quote on an '08 Z06 and it was about the same, but pleasure driving only and limited to 5,000 miles a year. I'm 64, perfect driving record. Thought that was high. Fortunately, Toyota insures my current rides as part of my lease program.

Shopped around over the years, you guys ought to look at Progressive. Wife and I are at 105/month for 98 GS400, 98 Dodge Cummins, and an 04 Odyssey full coverage. Decent coverages, don't have off the top of my head.

I think my dad pays about $3600 a year for 3 cars, 01 E320 4matic, 97 Range Rover, and my 01 GS300. only the benz and the lex are full coverage, liability only for the range. Perfect driving record for both me and my dad, my stepmom however has gotten into 2 accidents in the past 6 months with the benz...one of which was her fault. Oh, they're $500 deductible also. And my dad's 51, mom's 41 and im 22, we're all on the insurance.

Note to self: take the family to defensive driving course and save 10%+ on total car insurance

'02 GS430. 26 yrs. I should be able to get a better rate that what I've got...

Just got my renewed policy from Travelers: $1,330 a year = $110 per month, down here in Alabama. They say I'm getting a discounted rate since Homeowners is with Travelers. Full coverage w/ $500 ded. My '07 policy was $1,173 ($98 per mo.) and they sent me a letter in Dec. saying they pulled my driving record and found my one ticket from May '05 so they've jumped it to $1,330. I'm going to call State Farm. The more I hear from friends the more I'm led to believe they've got the cheapest rates in the South...

After seeing some of the rates other CL members are paying, I should count my blessings. My 01 430 runs 600 / year with State Farm. However, what gets me is that the insurance on my wife's new 08 RX350 is 596 / year. Both cars have the same level coverage (500 ded) and we are the same age and have clean driving records. Just goes to show you that the GS itself is an expensive car to insure
