I got quoted $320 US / Giovanna Rim + Shipping

Can someone post some pics of some "Dubs" from a good brand. They don't have to be Lowneharts. Someone said MRR, good suggestion.

Your GS is an Armani suit and the wheels are the shoes. Think of it that way. What would you rock with your suit?

Actually, those rims aren't "awful"...they ain't bad.

But since you're a member of Clublexus, you might as well use that to your advantage. PM some CL wheel vendors, and get all kinds of advice and quotes...this is a VERY important decision. So don't rush into it.

It's better to take your time...there's some nice wheels out there that are within your budget. And when in doubt, save more money, and just wait.

Hey rims can make or break the look of your car, and once you mount them they broke your wallet when you find out later you didn't like the wheels in the after all. If bling is your thing, bling on!

But here is a thread that has helped me narrow down the style of wheels I want to go with when I eventually get some rimz for the ride:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=276772

And Bigbea got his ride with a full-face style so you can take a look yourself.

You guys seriously prefer the Lexani's on BigBea's ride then the Giovanna's ???

Honestly.... No offence to Bigbea AT ALL but those rims look dated to me. They look like the rims I see tamils putting on '96 accords after cutting the springs.

rear wheel drive NEEDS a staggered setup with HUGE LIP.

Im looking for a 4 or 5 inch lip in the rear!

WHAT ABOUT THE DROPSTAR'S DS04 ??
no one has commented on those yet

Here is a picture of my car with staggered donz montanas with 4" lips in the rear. I purchased them from derrick @ d2 autosport and got a great deal. Everyone always asks me if there multi piece and how much, and when i tell them they cant beleive it. i always get compliments on my wheels. And derrick is a good guy he answered all my questions and even sent me a center cap for nothing when i told him i lost one. Now that is customer service!

no. 1500-2000 for just rims.
im looking to spend max 2600 when its all said and done.
im gunna throw some cheap tires on to keep overall price down though.
i would rather throw the bulk of my budget into the rims rather than rubber.

you may even be able to get into some nice 20" 1-pc wheels.
as many have mentioned, keep looking and continue your research

also, take your time and save. patience is key. GL!
and remember, its not what others like, its what you like. you park her in your garage, not others.

its hard to come to a forum where everyone has a similar style then yours. im not trying to bag on you, but some people here prefer things a little differently then what you like. its tough. but listen to these guys when it comes to offsets and doing your research. i had a honda *iknowiknow* and looking for the perfect wheels for my car took almost 2 years. with the perfect offset and style to my liking. but only because i was super picky.

your style of rim choice reminds me of my neighborhood but some people can pull it off. here youre talking to a bunch of tuners with one mindset. good luck on your search and remember, its what you like and thats all that matters.

So...all of a sudden i'm a tuner cuz i have HRE's ....blah!!! lol...like ppl have said...OFFSETS are KEY...staggered wheels...tires may not be cheap running a staggered set... I do know staggered 19's cost an arm and a leg...1500 for a set...take your time...shop around...
