It's pretty simple. It has an adhesive on the back of the strip. I did a test fit and there was extra left over for my front bumper. I pulled the cover off of the adhesive and pressed the strip into the groove and ran my finger along the strip to prevent any slack until I reached the other side of the bumper. Then just cut the excess off.

I got a roll of chrome strip ...matched nicely with OEM ones...forgot where I got it from.
