Default why only one key with Keyless remote?

Does the gs 400 only come with one keyless remote when you buy them new. Seems like every one of them i see just have one remote and then the valet key that doesnt have a remote. Is it just people loose it or did lexus not give one. Sounds kind of cheap if they dont give you 2 remotes on a 50000 dollar car.

I'm guessing you are complaining about what you received with your used car? They come with 2 master keys, a non-master, and a valet. They were lost, stolen, or broken if you didn't receive all of these I listed.

so many keys? i thought it's 2 master and 1 valet, and then maybe a card key? what is a non-master? i had a 98 gs400 so maybe it's different, but i didn't recall have a "non-master" for my is300 and sc430

non master = valet key

2 masters with remote, 1 valet key (has lexus symbol on it, but no remote built in and will not open trunk or glove box), and 1 walet key

For some reason I always thought of the key card as the valet, guess it makes no difference if you lock the trunk.
