Default Arm rest happy!

Hello my fellow lexians... happy to post that the arm rest that drove me so crazy for the way it was fading and starting to rip has been finally redone! Lexus stealership wanted $330.00 plus tax. Well i got it done for $45.00.... they did an excellent job. My interior looks beautiful, so any of you in the same situation with the arm rest just ask. I 'll be putting up some pics later on in the day, ok.

Regards,

Rob

$45 is a good price ... Where did you get it done? Or was it a DIY?

Why do we have to ask? You started this thread, can't you just state what you had done and by who so as to make it easy on people in the same situation?

yeah my arm rest is utter crap. Its the worst part of my whole interior. My mom when she owned the car use to let her dog run around the car and the armrest took the brunt of the damage. I have been wanting to get it redone but was afraid it would be to expensive. 45 sounds awsome.

I wasn't too sure what the guide lines are for posting vendors,
don't want to cause problems, i already you told that i had my armrest redone, how hard is that?? Info is 110 and roosevelt avenue, corona queens, New York. It's raining right now and i'm going to wait til it stops and will be more than happy to share pics. The thing is when i posted, it was early in the morning, don't have the business card with me, it's in the car. Is that alright by you...?

"Redone" can mean quite a few things...especially on CL. Which is why I asked for clarification.

Bro, you made a thread blabbing about how you got your worn out arm rest "redone" for $45 when the "stealership" wanted over $300. Being as you started a thread about it, my guess is that you felt this might be useful information to someone else on these boards. That's understandable. But then you fail to give any other information whatsoever?? You never said whether you got the armrest rewrapped or replaced completely (as the "stealership" typically replaces worn out parts, they don't rewrap anything.). The info you provided was very vague, other than telling us that you spent $45 on your armrest and you were happy with whatever you had done. Do you not see how that would cause some people to scratch their head?

It's not like you said, "Hey guys, I finally got my worn out arm rest leather replaced by a place on 110 and roosevelt and it only cost $45! I was happy with the results and will post pics soon."

That's not so hard...and tells people reading the thread infinitely more information without the need for 20 redundant posts asking you where you got it done.

You'll have to forgive me, I think a bit deeper than most.

Like i said before its still raining and have yet to take pics, but heres the exact information. The arm rest was rewrapped in new leather (double stiched) a shade lighter of color, but cannot tell the difference, can't go wrong for $45.00 dollars and yes they do interiors. Mikeloc24... If you don't like the way i post then don't read and bust my *****. If your armrest is worn simply don't take my advice go to the dealer and buy yourself a new one at the "stealership" regardless your in LA, alright "bro"
