Guys,
I'm running on lowered 18's, 1 finger gap in front and 2 finger gap at rear.
To prevent occasionally rubbing in the rear, i had just rolled my rear fenders and i have one thing to say... I can ZOOM and HANDLE like it was on stocks!!!
Problem is: before the rear fenders were rolled up, the gap was small and after the roll, it looks like 3 finger gap more.
so is it me or is it the eye illusion that makes the gap between the tire and the fender bigger? its really disturbing to the eye while i love my GS even more now and could not compromise to lower any further.
Please rolled fender gurus, appreciate your comments!

depends on the offsets and how low..

looks like he is slammed...just like mine! however im running a little bit stretched so no rubbing here.
18's CAN look good on the GS, contrary to popular belief!

i was about 3/16" tucked in front and 1/4" tucked in rear on 19's and didnt rub at all; with very conservative offsets-so i got lucky.
also, the tte lip enhances the 'lower' look than what it really is (added this lip does bring the look of the car a bit lower); an advantage of lowered white cars. but if you look at his front wheel well, there's gaps. so actually, it all depends on how/who is measuring the 'lowness' of the car.

do you think i should install back the black trim or drop a little more? its really disturbing to the eyes

I'm running staggered 18" Works with 30F 28R offsets, and have barely a two finger gap in the front and 1 finger in the rear, and it's a pain in the butt to drive a lot of places. It is extremely low to the ground (clearance wise). Its too low to go up on any lift, dyno, speedbumps, etc.
If I put my old 19's or a set of 20's, it would be tucked if not Very close.

after the fender roll, the gap does look wider... you have to understand tats what happens when you roll the fender. it pushed out the fender a little. you also too off the rubber guard and gave more room for a bigger gap.
i would say, lower the back a little more man. my personal preference tells me to lower the car as low as i can go... and if i cant get around town, then raise it up just a TAB bit.
you have to get used to driving a lowered car. being cautious is the key!
my GS is slammed on 20s. when i turn my steering wheel all the way to the left/right, the tire just barely clears the fender. soo when i go pull up my steeeeep drive way, i postion the car and then turn the steering wheel straight and go up just fine.
i drive daily with a slammed car and have no issues at all. you just gotta learn how to maneuver the car. sure hope this helps
