in my personal opinion.... anything under 20" on this car looks TINY!

20" is perfect fit for everyday driver.
22" is perfect fit for a show or occasional driver.

I think it depends on the wheels you get and the suspension you go with. I think full face wheels look too small in 18", you're better off getting them in 20". But there are some wheels that look good in 18" and 19", even the stock 5-spoke 17's look nice with a good drop. In the end, it's really all subjective.

I agree with fonzy. Back in the day when it was first introduced it was like shaazaam. If I recall the 400 was also the fastest sport sedan out there. 10 years later yeah other companys have passed it by in all aspects. It also depends on what model you bought the 300 or 400. But even now my 400 can give most cars a run for there money......... until they turn

I bought the car cause I wanted something that I can travel in and take my daughter to the city for her monthly chemo-therapy, so the GS was a Luxury. I would've got myself an IS of I wanted more sport.

After owning a LS400 and now the GS400, the GS is not in the same class as the LS in Luxury. But then the LS is not in the same class as the GS in Sportiness.

The gs is like a man wearing a tailored suit with Air Jordans on his feet ready to get busy when duty calls

For about a $1000 investment plus some good tires, you can make a dramatic improvement in the handling and appearance of the GS. This, coupled with the already potent acceleration will result in a car that retains much of the stock luxury ride while improving the handling to the point that the car is nimble in the turns and fun to push hard through the twisties. The car is definitely admirable stock but with a bit of suspension modification, it will put a smile on your face.

Speaking of sporty, I've been eyeing the 2004/2005 E55's! Now that is a sports sedan! I think if I ever get married, I'll give the wifey the GS430 and scoop up a E55. I just don't want car payments.

All that said, I still LOVE the GS! I just love the E55 a bit more. Oh, and I love my garage queen more than any other car(that I can afford).

Man, I could be so much better off financially if I didn't have sucha passion for cars! I'm sure you all know what I mean.

The only thing sporty about my Lexus is the sport design

it's alllllll luxury. How do I know? I just bought a 2000 honda accord for a beater to drive to work...and my goodness, it has NO luxuries!
