Default Today... broken rim

This afternoon I balanced all wheels and made a trip of about 80 miles.
But the whole car vibration at 60-70 mph is still destructing...
I had balanced others wheels in this shop before and was perfect.
But that's not all... in the trip I feel any other pothole but not to worry... until my son noticed this.
Lucky the tire is ok... can't understand

Will return to the originals 17"

well, I've just cracked 2 OEM 17 5 spokes 2 weeks ago, now I'm on my spare and a rim bought here, so I'm with 3 chrome and 1 silver(spare).

Anybody know if OEM 17s are strong? I'm still debating if I should buy another one....

Kinda like in the case of the OP, I didn't even feel any pot hole.... and 2 was then leaking over night and found cracked....

All wheels can fail. That depends upon what is strike.
The problem with big rims is the clearance from the ground. Tomorrow will install the originals 17" back.

Wow... Those are some fat tires too. I can only imagine what would have happened if you were running stretched tires. At least you're OK and there is no damage to the car.

i dunno man.. people call those things "iForgery's" for a reason. but regardless, given the right (or wrong) circumstances, you could snap the strongest HRE or the cheapest ebay special in a heartbeat.
