Default Mist option on wipers

I filled my windshield washer fluid this morning, and when I tried to use the Mist option, only the wipers came on. Where do I fill windshield fluid to get the mist option to work? Diagrams are very helpful! Thank you!

Maybe the nozzles are clogged. Try pulling the stalk back several times, if nothing happens then try sticking a pin in the nozzle to see if it unclogs.

The mist option only wipes the mist/morning dew off the windshield. It does not spray the glass to clean it. That is the wash option, pull the column towards the steering wheel to make this happen.

Thank you for the clarification! I was wondering when I pulled on the stick, it did nothing but run the wipers.

Being as far north as Jersey you're probrably frozen in the lines. Its not unheard of to have shady mechanics and oil change places put in diluted washer fluid, which in the Summer time its ok, but in the winter, forget it!! I tell the guys to not bother with the washer fluid, I got the purple Prestone stuff in there.

I am glad everyone replying is reading your post otherwise we would be going in every direction. I now know a new wiper fluid to use when my mist control is not functioning properly.
