Default Question about a 99 GS400 for sale

I found a 1999 GS400 with 37K miles on it and want to see what everyone thinks is a fair price. Very low miles for the year. It has the Nakamichi sound system, heated seats, and the 17" wheels. What should it be sold for?

I would be very leary about an 11 year old car with only that amount of mileage. If its in good condition I would say 18-20k

i smell fish
99 w/37k on the clock?
mine's an 03 and had about 26k on the clock when i got it in 06. but i ran everything on it...even dmv check

do the usual: carfax, all maintenance rec's, check if you can run the vin at a dealer, etc. GL!

mine's a 98 GS4 premium and i bought it 2 months ago at 98,000km~61250miles. the 1st owner only drove it in the summer so it's possible that that could be the case for your car. then again you live in cali so that's not very likely. nonetheless i'd say $16-17,000. i agree with 4ntvings and run the vin number, use carfax, find out service history and previous history. good luck

i think at the time when the 2GS was released, the buyer demographics were leaning more towards late 30's and above. so i think older people were leasing/buying these with a fair share of business people as well. GL again!

Thanks for the info. I was a little skeptical about the low mileage but it was the owners 3rd car so rarely got driven.

Sounds like a great deal if everything checks out.

My 97 Supra only has 34k miles on it, but I don't drive it in the winter and I only put maybe 2k miles annually in the past 8yrs, but it can be done. It's just hard to see a GS in Cali with that low mileage, unless he moved there from a winter state. I don't drive my GS in the winter either and it has very low miles too, but it could be just me.
