Angel Eyes Head Lights
Hey guys.....
I was thinking about putting the angel eye head lights on my gs that you can get on xenon depot. I think they look okay but I wanted some more opinions. What do you guys think about those oem replacements?

they're ok. i see them a lot on civics and lower end cars. if you like them go for it. imo they're signature bmw. i wouldn't buy them because of that reason but it's all personal taste. just buy an hid kit for the oem housing if you don't already have them. or just buy projector housings.

oh, those headlights are meant for halogen, not HID, you can however put in HID in it, but you've got to adjust it carefully to get light on the road, mine's with D2R bulbs, but tried for a long time to get the light output acceptable...

Just to clarify where I stand in this discussion... I've received a pm, I've replied it and though might aswell post it here.
Yes that is my car(see below/signature), as for liking it, I don't, the car came with these lights and I also feel the cheapness of it... and not the passenger side halos doesn't usually work and goes dim, but I think that's also due to the coldness I'm living in.... Also, it will have condensation after going through a car wash.
As for pictures the halos when me and my friends took the pictures, I guess our cameras aren't that good, the halos usually show up as a blur, but at least when they are bright, they are really bright.

I'm currently just waiting for the weather to warm back up so that I can work on the car and refinish the OEM housings and slap it back on...
Now a question for you guys, the HID housing I've got (from the guy that sold me the car, which was the worse I've seen when received, but that's another thing) was messed up by the last guy, which painted it in a black with gold/green flake. I've tried paint removal, just like how we do the emblems (which he also messed) but it didn't work... so now I've sanded it down and painted it with instant chrome in a hope to get the chrome back, but doesn't work, only come out as a silverish color

I have to open it back up again as I found out the clear was messed and cloud up from the inside, and I'm also thinking about repainting it, but I don't know what I should do, any ideas? also, how do I tell if the reflector was HID reflector? as I noticed one of the clear lenses was for HB4 or the like, and the other D2R. the back housing is for HID with auto levelling though. but I'm now kinda worried if the reflector's for halogen aswell. If all else fails, I think I'm gonna wait til a good retrofit headlight come to classifieds and get that instead....
